Refinished solid wood antique dresser with refinished solid wood mirror

This antique dresser got a makeover with many layers of old paint removed. It was then sanded smooth, cleaned & had minor structural repairs done to it.

I used Fusion Mineral Paint in Cathedral Taupe to paint wash the entire piece, then used full concentrated paint on each side. I applied a stencil to a small area on each side as well. I dry brushed the paint on the entire piece highlighting the super cool original handles and appliqué at the bottom.

I used the same paint on the mirror.

I then used special dark wax to seal the entire dresser. And finally I used Howard’s wood polish and condition to hydrate the inside and outside of each drawer that also leaves a fresh citrus scent.
